My name is Rachel and I am a web and mobile app developer and have also dabbled in creating desktop apps using Python (see below). I mostly use Wordpress, React and Next.js (for websites) and React Native (for cross-platform mobile apps), and I know a bit of Swift (for iOS apps). I have also built basic YouTube, Spotify, and Netflix clones using PHP. I am proficient in SQL and have been able to use my skills to advise senior data and business analysts.

I am currently undertaking a master's degree in Computer Science with Software Engineering although my undergraduate degree was in Mathematics, for which I achieved a final mark of 97% and an award from the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (the UK's national body of mathematicians).

I enjoy tackling challenging projects which makes coding exciting and fulfilling. I am passionate about coding and it never feels like I am working - like a child on Christmas morning I look forward to waking up in the morning so I can get back on my laptop!
